Mexico: What Everyone Needs to Know by Roderic Ai Camp

乐鱼 体育's Mexico Institute is pleased to invite you to the book launch Mexico: What Everyone Needs to Know (2017) by Roderic Ai Camp, Phillip M. McKenna Professor of the Pacific Rim at Claremont McKenna College.

Roderic Ai Camp will be presenting his newly published book from Oxford University Press with comments from William Beezley. This work is designed to inform the general public as well as specialists with the most recent information and interpretations to a wide range of current issues affecting Mexico and Mexican-United States relations. It is the first publication to incorporate links to a unique digital project, led by Beezley and Camp, to record and preserve professionally filmed video interviews with prominent Mexican figures who contributed significantly to Mexico鈥檚 democratic transition from 1988 to 2012. Currently, five completed interviews with Cuauht茅moc C谩rdenas, President Felipe Calder贸n, Jamie Serra Puche, Miguel Bas谩帽ez, and Cecilia Soto Gonz谩lez, are available on the website of the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Latin American History. The project has been supported by Oxford University Press, the Mexico Institute, Woodrow 乐鱼 体育, and Claremont McKenna College.
